Job Description:   IT Systems Engineer 1st to 3rd Line Support O365 – Microsoft Office 365 Desktop Support – Active Directory Exchange MCSE – 6-month Contract - London An opportunity has arisen for an IT Systems Support 1st to 3rd Line consultant with Microsoft Office 365 Engineer, Active Directory Exchange Online experience to come on-board to work with a services client helping with a roll out of Office 365. Core experience with Microsoft Office 365 helping new customers with Migration, deployment, Management and Support of Office 356, you should have past experience Adding users, Installing Office applications, Migrating email and contacts, Setting up Skype for Business, Setting up file storage and sharing for up to 250 uses in central office and offsite locations West London and Central London. Key responsibilities and essential experience: - Acting as the first point of contact for all Office365 Business Readiness support via the IT Help Desk e-mail inbox and telephone. Being customer centric in resolving issues quickly, reporting any major issues to the Head of Information services or 3rd party vendor solutions team. - Answering phonecalls in a prompt, friendly manner systemically work to monitor reduce longer term issues. - Working with Head of Information services to prepare a plan to rollout Office365. - Communicate with Staff and Managers about the roll-out, making sure that they are available and understand the benefits of the upgrade. - Roll-out Office365 to staff. Good understanding and able to discuss the implementation of various asupporting workloads such as SharePoint, One Drive for Business, Yammer, Microsoft Azure, Exchange, Windows Server, Active Directory with clients – 5 Years’ experience Exchange Administration, Exchange Online (Or experience within at least 2 complex environment) – 3 Years’ experience Lync Administration (Or experience within at least one complex environment) – Microsoft Office Administration experience – 3 Years’ experience with Advanced Exchange PowerShell (Or experience within at least one complex environment) – Outlook Client Mac/PC – Experience of technically leading at least 1 Office365 Migrations (Exchange & Lync) – Active Directory, VDI - Virtualisation/Cloud Technology Stack, Microsoft - Hyper-V 2008/212R2 Location: Central London Rate: £350 - £400 per day You should be adept at finding solutions to problems and documenting results, open to traveling around where necessary visiting clients, and manage various services via online portals and control panels. As a Technical Support Engineer in the role you will gain exposure working with a vast number of users on a daily basis, working within a Desktop support team dealing with key stakeholders as part of your role. Responsible for Microsoft Office 365 services. The candidate should be a good communicator who is friendly and patient and is happy engaging with customers of all levels and proficiencies while demonstrating professionalism.
