C# / .NET Windows tools WPF Systems Software Engineer – Gloucestershire 

.NET / C# Windows WPF Systems Software Engineer is needed on permanent basis working on a Digital Industrial mission critical systems.

A Global, Leading Industrial Engineering organisation require a .NET / C# Systems Engineer to join their project , working on a safety system projects, you’ll be reporting into the Systems and Software Engineering Manager, the candidate should have completed around 10 development project life cycles, or have around five years + Programming experience with a solid understanding of best industry practice coding standards in Agile environments. The candidate will gain experience and understanding of safety analysis processes relating coding standards for the Transportation or Aviation sector i.e. MISRA C, and MISRA standards.

The role could be based between Gloucester, up to 90% of the role will be based in Gloucester. You will be working as part of a larger Software, Systems and Hard / ware engineering team so you will gain exposure of best practice working alongside other leading professionals.

Key skills and abilities:

– Systems Software experience with .NET / C# programming.
– Tools WPF, MVVM design patterns, XML, UML.
– Prior experience leading project work streams within Windows Foundation Development environments or DOORS Dynamics Object Orientated requirement management tools.
– Team worker / able to influence other within a team.
– Experience mentoring junior systems developers.

Nice to have:

– Domain experience within the Transportation, Air Transportation, Aviation, Power Distribution, Aerial navigation safety sectors or a similar embedded systems development environment or similar Engineering Standards for Aircraft experience transferable skills.
– GUI / Front end development tools Rhapsody / OpenGL.

Salary: £44,000 per annum
